It all started with just a girl sending a boy a snapchat friend request. She was bright eyed and hopeful that he would gleefully accept in seconds, however when seconds turned into many many lonely nights, she decided to swear off men forever and finally cut the bangs she always wanted. Thankfully, he woke up from his non observant slumber and not only accepted, but sent her a heartfelt snapchat photo of him holding up a peace sign whilst laying on his couch. Who says romance is dead? They were bound together from that moment onward.

We are so grateful to our guests who will be traveling to celebrate with us! For your convenience, flights can be booked into either Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL), both of which offer easy access to the city. As this will be a busy travel weekend in Dallas, we recommend booking your flights and accommodations as early as possible to ensure a smooth and stress-free journey.

For your convenience, we have reserved a block of rooms at the W Dallas in Victory Park. Rooms can be reserved online at the link below, or by calling and referencing the Starnes + Forrest room block. A Texas tradition since 1886, the State Fair runs from late September through mid-October. Guests can enjoy the iconic 55-foot Big Tex, creative fried foods, carnival rides, and live music. Tickets and parking passes are recommended to purchase online in advance.

Historic Western district offering twice‑daily cattle drives, rodeo arena, live music, dining, shopping. Popular for immersive “Wild West” atmosphere. Best to arrive early for the cattle drive at approximately 11:30 am and 4:00 pm; Exchange Ave closes briefly then.

Fort Worth Stockyards

Especially beautiful in October with its nationally recognized “Autumn at the Arboretum” pumpkin village. A great place for photos and a leisurely stroll.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Katy Trail is perfect for casual walking or biking. The Ice House is a vibrant beer garden with generous patio seating, great for relaxed drinks or a casual bite post‑stroll. Popular spot, expect a fun, social vibe.

A picturesque private university known for its Georgian-style architecture, tree-lined campus, and cultural institutions like the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Perfect for a scenic stroll or a quick tour to soak in Dallas’ collegiate atmosphere.

SMU & George W. Bush Presidential Center

One of the largest art museums in the country with more than 24,000 works spanning 5,000 years. General admission is free, though special exhibitions may require tickets. Located in the Dallas Arts District, making it easy to pair with nearby attractions.

Dallas Museum of Art

A striking cube-shaped building featuring hands-on exhibits, dinosaur fossils, space exploration, and an earthquake simulator. Excellent for families and curious minds of all ages. Tickets are timed-entry on weekends—book ahead if possible.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Offers a powerful historical narrative of JFK’s assassination, including a reconstructed sniper’s perch. Ideal for guests interested in American history—reserve tickets in advance, as it can be busy.
